The GFE Standard Cut and Turned beams are a critical component when it comes to building a GoFastExplorer, Ranger, or Bronco. The factory Dana 35/44 beams are modified in the lower ball joint "ear" to correct the camber/caster angles when increasing your ride height by up to 6 inches. Factory pivot brackets are maintained. Great for use with coilovers, or the stock coil buckets with a taller spring. With the right setup, you can achieve 14-17 inches of usable 4x4 wheel travel.
Premium Cut/Turn
This option takes your cut and turned beams to the the next level. All exterior welds in the lower ball joint ear are smoothed to the give the beam a factory appearance. Additional cleanup is perfomed on the modified area of the interior portion of the beam ends. Package these with our uniball pivots for the ultimate set of clean factory appearing modified beams designed purely for off road performance.
Uniball Pivot Package
Add Uniball Pivots to our Standard or Premium Dana 35 and 44 Cut/Turned Beams. This option includes 1" uniballs, cups, snap rings, and spacers. The cups are machined down to allow additional clearance within the beam pivot pocket. The misalignment spacers are also machined down to the correct spacing for any stock or aftermarket beam pivot brackets. Additional plating is added to the back of the beam to box in the uniball cup to the beam. The axle window is opened up to give clearance for a pushed forward wheel base of up to 2" depending on the vehicle and setup.
Core Exchange Program
Simply put, you send us a pair of beams, we send you back a pair of cut and turned beams.
VERY IMPORTANT - The beams need to be clean and grease free. You dont need to sand them down to bare metal, but they need to be grease free and sprayed down with brake cleaner.
You will be responsible for the shipping to us, as well as the return shipping. Please include a return shipping label. If you do not include a return shipping lable an invoice will be sent out when the beams are finished. The beams will ship immediately upon receipt of payment for return shipping.
* We can also organize a free drop off/pick up in San Diego county
These brackets were developed to allow vehicles equipped with the Dana 35 TTB, to convert to the full size Dana 44 TTB. They also feature a second pivot location to allow the use of Dana 35 TTB's.
The entire weld it yourself kit contains 20 pieces. 16 pieces are laser cut, .25" steel that are keyed and interlock, and four, 0.125" thick shims are included in this kit. They can be MIG or TIG welded. Minimal beveling is required for proper weld penetration and fitment, and a few simple bend are required that can be done without a press. It is highly recommended to mock up, and fit all parts on the vehicle.
Pivot points are very close to the factory location, these are not drop down brackets, or intended to be used as a lift kit.
Professional installation, and welding is required.

GFE First Gen Performance Suspension Kit
Regular price
$1,950.00
Save $-1,950.00
This kit was designed to give your 91-94 Ford Explorer or 83-97 Ranger actual off road performance suspension. The kit features cut and turned beams which are a critical component when it comes to building a GoFastExplorer. The factory Dana 35 beams are modified in the lower ball joint "ear" to maintain proper camber/caster angles throughout the suspension travel. The drop down brackets found in other lift kits are a major weak point. This kit maintains the factory pivot brackets.
The radius arms included in the kit are built with 1.75" x .120 DOM tube and .25″ plate. The horizontal tubes run on different planes to create triangulation. This adds an incredible resistance to bending vs radius arms found in other kits. They pivot on massive 1.25" heim joints, and the added length and articulation allows the front wheels travel on a larger arc. You'll notice a much smoother ride in the rough terrain.
Explorers will require the radius arm pivot boxes to be welded to frame. All other components of the kit bolt on. This kit boasts 12" of wheel travel, and will hold it's own in the dirt along side kits costing twice as much on newer vehicles!
